Bake it Pretty - Owl Friends

Today I created a bunch of hooters. (Owls!) They are so adorable. And tasty.

I used a candy mold from Bake it Pretty along with candy wafers for melting and cello bags for packaging. You just melt the candy wafers, fill the mold and tap it a little to get the bubbles out, and stick it in the freezer until it sets.

The shapes pop out very easily and I'm sure you can think of a number of cute ways to package them. I was in a bit of a hurry and just used tiny cello bags and cut out cardstock paper with a smaller Amy Butler scrap paper and stapled them all together. Sweet and simple. For more sweet candy inspiration, head on over to the Bake it Pretty blog. Your sweet tooth will thank you!

  1. Ooh, these turned out just darling! Your co-workers will love these!

  2. How stinkin' cute! What do they taste like? Can you flavor them? I especially love those little leaves for some reason. =)

  3. Hi Shanon! The green is a minty flavor and the blue is a vanilla flavor, they just melt in your mouth! And you can buy flavor oils to add to the candy that sound really tasty as well.

ps ~ thanks for the lovely card! you are too sweet!

  4. Did you see that you were in an Etsy FP treasury just now? Yay! And of course your super welcome. ; )
